Hotel Overview

The 4-star Hotel Gerl is located in Wals, a 2-minute drive from the A1 motorway and a 15-minute drive from the centre of Salzburg. It offers free WiFi and free public parking.

Our Adults Only (Over 21) View Club transforms into a beach club and spa from May to mid-September. You can relax there, but also party on weekend Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. with summery beats from our local DJs.

We always recommend reserving a fixed lounger on the weekends, as our View Club is very busy. The loungers in our indoor area cannot be reserved; the motto here is first come first serve.
On Saturday : • Double lounger (without minimum consumption) at a price of €50.00 per person including a carafe of water • Front row lounger at a price of €50.00 per person including a carafe of water (one applies here Minimum consumption of €100 per lounger) • Lounge at a price of €30.00 per person (max 8 people). We ask for your understanding that no drinks or food brought with you are allowed in the View Club. By making your reservation you agree that our staff may check your bags before check-in. For the sake of our environment, we also avoid disposable slippers in the hotel. We are happy to offer you the opportunity to purchase flip-flops at reception for a fee of €3.00 and are intended to be taken with you.

Hotel is very nicely decorated with lovely bar, restaurant and reception. Staff at the reception was polite and helpful. Parking included in price. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff went over and beyond to make our stay even more special. The spa and pools were perfect and breakfast was very good (large selection). Definitely a place to return!

Went for a wellness stay with a friend sfter discovering Hotel Gerl on Instagram. Everything was fine, staff extremely friendly - only the outdoor pool’s temperature could have been warmer for our taste - but that’s a matter of personal taste.
