Checking in is efficient, code sent to outside lock box which is very handy! The rooms are modern, stylishly decorated and cosy. The bathrooms are well lit and have come with a well lit mirror which is great especially if trying to get ready to go out. The lighting overall is spot on. I’ve often found in other hotels bedside lights far too bright or fiddly lighting switches where you either switch the whole room lighting off or can’t isolate just one switch! The attention to detail to the things which matter is what makes this hotel great! You can wake up and make a lovely coffee with the coffee machine or hot chocolate, If you are planning a meal downstairs, the food is delicious and the ambiance again in the bar/ restaurant is lovely. We visited once when there was a piano player by the bar who was fantastic. Love this hotel for location also, it’s right next to bus links and if you need to get to the station. Fabulous hotel! Always a pleasure to visit! Thank you for a Lovely Stay !

The breakfast was excellent value for money, bedroom facilities were clean and comfortable with tea and coffee available in the room. Hotel was in the centre of Wallingford so we were able to enjoy local walks along the Thames Path, go shopping and enjoy meals out easily.
