we had a wonderful stay in this charming auberge nestled in nature. The hosts were incredibely friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. the rooms were cozy and the outdoor sauna and hot tubes outdoor were absolutely magical. it is a perfect spot to recharge.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel, beautifully perched on a hill overlooking the river and the Wakefield village. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short walk from great restaurants, hiking trails, and the ski hill. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a cozy yet fresh feel. One of the highlights was the wood-burning sauna, which added a touch of relaxation to the experience. The dining room was thoughtfully equipped with a sink, fridge, and microwave, allowing guests to prepare their own meals if they wished. Breakfast was a delight—freshly made each morning by the friendly and accommodating owners, Anne and Luc. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. The entire property is well-maintained, offering both comfort and tranquility. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views and a welcoming atmosphere, this hotel is an excellent choice. I would definitely return!
