The guest lodge was great for our stay, it was spacious, clean & quiet. The bed was comfortable, shower was powerfully. Breakfast was continental & just what we needed. Hosts were friendly & gave us tips on places to go in the area. They lent us torches & gave us a map to see the glowworms at night. Would definitely recommend

The hosts were amazing, so nice and always wanting to help. The room was comfortable and the location was great, with some great food options nearby for dinner.

The tranquil location and easy access to the caves. The hosts were more than accommodating as we missed breakfast but they still let us have breakfast.

The room was well equipped for our family of 4. The extra touch was the packet of fresh milk in the fridge, a truly nice gesture. Richard did a superb job with the welcome. Lots of info given to us to help with settling in and deciding what to do next. Richard even provided extra towels so our kids could go for the Black Water rafting ride and not have to use up the room towels.

My sister and I stayed one night at the lodge and it was the perfect stay. We were immediately greeted by the host on arrival, and we were given a little tour of the property. We mentioned that we had to check out before breakfast was offered, so the host offered to put together a breakfast tray for us the night before! We were very grateful for that. The host also had flashlights available for the nearby night walk, which was super convenient :) Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had a lovely 1 night stay. Hosts Richy and Lyn greeted us on arrival, showed us around and provided useful knowledge of Waitomo and activities and places to eat in the area. The continental breakfast provided had many options. The room was comfortable. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
