We stayed for one night to break up a long drive and were very satisfied with our studio. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only small improvement would be a more modern sink with a single mixer tap instead of two separate faucets. Apart from that, we felt very much at ease. Communication with the owner was friendly and uncomplicated.

I loved how quiet the motel was, no noisy traffic or anything like that, very clean & comfortable facilities. Friendly staff who checked on me when I locked my keys in the car!

We booked the 2bdrm cottage and travelled from Rotorua. We were greeted by the owner, Mihirangi, who was friendly and informative. The cottage was large, private, comfortable and had everything our family of 4 needed for the 2 nights we stayed.

Highly recommend Wairoa Motel. We stayed for 3 nights and it was truly lovely. It felt like home away from home and was so peaceful. Great location, clean rooms, good facilities and excellent customer service. Big thank you to Mahinarangi who was super helpful, especially with the booking process and getting the appropriate room to cater to our needs. Thank you so much 🙏 We would definitely stay again.
