The property was quiet, with an incredible view of Waihi. The heard of alpaca were such a treat as was being allowed to feed them. The rooms were very comfortable, warm and easy to find.

We stayed at a lovely couple’s cottage on the top of a hill, and it was like a dream to be able to interact with a big family of alpacas. The two hosts showed incredible hospitality — before we left, they even made us promise not to wash the dishes or tidy up the beds! We couldn’t help but laugh. The utilities and furniture were all clean, well-maintained, and very easy to use, which made our stay even more comfortable. They kindly let us spend as much time as we wanted with the alpacas, goats, and their friendly dog,Bear.

The peace and serenity was divine. Just what we needed. The view was a salve to our eyes and mind. It's the kind of spot where all you want to do is stretch, breathe and dream. Loved it.

Joanne and Neil are incredible hosts! We stayed for three nights, and honestly, we would have loved to stay longer. They own a little slice of heaven and are so generous in sharing it with others. If you love animals and nature, this is the perfect spot for you. Every morning, we had the pleasure of feeding the Alpacas and Goats. We also got to meet Bear, the official welcoming dog, and even had a chance to feed the goldfish. It’s truly an amazing place to visit! Everything you need is right there. The cabins are clean and tidy, and it’s clear that Joanne and Neil genuinely care about their guests’ comfort and enjoyment. We even took advantage of the BBQ a couple of nights, relaxing under the open skies filled with stars—such a delightful experience. Thank you Joanne and Neil, we are more than happy with how this little trip went. Javiera will miss to see the Alpacas every day.
