The property was lovely, typical chalet style hotel but with modern convenience. A wonderful warm welcome from reception with a glass of bubbly or juice. The hotel and rooms all clean, tidy and comfortable. The indoor pool was a hit and although we didn’t use the spa the facilities looked amazing. It was pleasant to sit outside near the natural pool with sun loungers around with space for privacy through the gardens. Plenty of parking. The terrace area lovely to sit in with view of mountains and after snacks/cakes served at 3pm in bar a lovely surprise. The bar was cosy and well furnished for sitting having a cocktail or coffee in evening and the staff there so pleasant to talk to. We liked the fact there was a lift from ground floor up to reception (helped with less mobile guests). Surrounding area beautiful and well worth a visit. Breakfast choices were wide, freshly cooked omelet and pancakes, cooked, continental, cheeses, fruits, croissants, etc teas, coffees and juices. Water tap also available all day near bar/restaurant. We didn’t use restaurant for the evening meal but they do a children’s option as well as the adults option so you don’t have to worry about the more fussy eaters. There are several restaurants in walking distance serving pizza, pasta and other food.
