Everything was amazing. The hospitality and care of Mahmoud and his cousin were unparalleled. Mahmoud was very clear and honest about the pricing and services (which is not always the case in Petra and Wadi rum). He showed us around and took really good care of us. Travelling as a female can be difficult sometimes but with Mahmoud we felt safe and respected, and this is something I appreciated a looot! Mahmoud told us a bit about the Bedouin lifestyle and costumes and explained us many things about the region and history. I really appreciated the fact that they respect the land and nature where they live and they take care of it. Mahmoud is also a talented photographer and he took some very beautiful pictures for me. The room was really nice, bed was comfortable, the room was warm, there was hot water and the food was delicious. All of this for a very affordable price. I wish I could stay longer. The place deserves a at least a few days stay.

I stayed at Mahmoud place for few days and I can’t recommend it enough. I’m traveling a solo female traveler and before coming here I was worried whether it was safe for me or not. Since I got here Mahmoud made me feel like at home, he explained me everything and was very understanding with me. I did the jeep tour with him which was very fun too. The food was very good as well. Everything went great. I came here thinking I was gonna stay for one day but ended up staying few more because of how comfortable I felt! Thank you Mahmoud!
