Very special location in the desert. Ahmed is a great host. He is very welcoming, knowledgeable and also very funny. He arranged for me to catch the bus to Petra. I loved the food in the camp. Both the dinner and the breakfast.

Actually, Camp Khalifa is closed due to very little tourism in the area. However, the owner let us stay in his hostel in Wadi Rum village, which is what we needed for that night. He was really nice and I feel so bad for how the war affected their business, and I hope next time I go back they’ll be thriving once again!

"We stayed in for a night and the truth is that we were amazed with the comforts, decoration and the treatment of the staff, all excellent. The Wadi Rum desert is amazing, and staying in a place like this is lucky. The extraordinary dinner and breakfast, the nightly atmosphere of dance, tea and music, spectacular. We had a super nice stay. HIGHLY recommended. The best to stay in the desert and get to know it with jeep and/or camel excursions."
