I have unforgettable memories about this place 😊 The desert, the views, night starry sky are lovely and look like another planet and I couldn't believe I really saw it with my own eyes. But what is more important - people who are are meeting there, Khaled and his family-team are superkind, friendly, funny and open-minded people who make you fell home. I was solo traveling girl and this is the place where I felt the most safe in Jordan and felt peaceful. We had a great jeep tour, hiking tour, enjoyed delucious local food altogether with other guests. You can walk around the camp, enjoy the views and silence of desert. I dream about coming back and will. Thank you so much for home and emotions I felt there☺️

I like Khalid's approach. He welcomes all kind of tourists, even backpackers, without forcing them to buy the tour and stuff.

We stayed at Khaled’s during low season. We booked a half day jeep tour and we truly had a blast. Badar, our guide really contributed to our happy faces. He took is to most scenic places. This desert is so diverse! We had a chance to climb, hike in canyon, visit Lawrence House or see ancient pictograms and picturesque views. You cannot get bored! After the tour we arrived at the camp, which turned genuinly located. You really feel Khaled runs it for 30 years and took care about every detail. There is a nice dining room, chillout zones and perfect spots for both sunrise and sunset. We picked a deluxe tent and been checkin to a really nice one. Inside there is all you need;) Even though you sleep over in the desert, you feel comfy. After catching a sunset, we had a special dinner. That night it was just two of us at the camp, but the cook made a special zarb barbecue for us. Khaled (owner, but I prefer to call him a host) joined us and hosted us in person. We had a really nice conversation at the dinner. He was so kind to help with contacting my next day horse riding stable. We really felt his hospitality! We do appreciate that he made an effort to come and meet us. Although there are so many camps in Wadi Rum (heard about around 300), those authentic, beduin ones are not so common. This one is truly special! Would love to come back one day!
