I booked this camp expecting some cheap tent and maybe a scam… nope. Got super clear instructions right away, zero stress. Khazali Mountain Camp feels like someone invited you into their desert home: laid-back, warm, real Bedouin vibes without any of that overpriced “luxury glamping” nonsense. Yusuf, our guide, is an absolute legend: he showed us the most insane spots in Wadi Rum, told stories about real Bedouin life, and made the whole desert come alive. Pure magic. Food? Fresh, tasty, cooked with love: dinner under the stars and breakfast in the morning hit the spot perfectly. Met a bunch of cool travelers, slept like a rock listening to the silence of the desert. If you want the authentic Wadi Rum experience without paying for bubbles and Instagram jacuzzis: this is it. Hands down one of the best nights of my entire Jordan trip. Thank you Yusuf & team

Our guide and driver Ali and Aude were fantastic from the start. We did the 8-hour jeep tour and it was absuletely worth it. We always got to the sites before it was crowded by others, the lunch was great. At the end of the tour Aude took us to an amazing sunset spot, and at the camp Ali took great care of us. The camp also has all the facilities you need, we' e had the best shower here in all Jordan, and the dinner and breakfast were also great. I would absolutely recommend this camp to everyone.

The desert is beautiful, so wherever you stay it's going to be lovely. We wanted the location nearest the Khazali canyon as it was one of our highlights to visit. The camp per se is very comfortable, well organised, clean. No aircon (we didn't need it, just for info). There is a solid wifi, but not a cellphone reception.
