We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend The Old Workshop to anyone looking for a cozy, countryside escape. It has all the comforts you could need for a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Immaculately clean, lovely welcome basket of local goodies and a "nothing's too much trouble" attitude of the hosts. Some lovely quirky touches to the decor. We'll be back.

The property is really nice. The kids loved the mezzanine level in the living room, especially the hammock! The place had everything we needed to rest, relax and eat between trips out to explore the local area - including Battle (ie of Hastings), the seaside at Bexhill and mountain biking at Bedgebury. The fireplace made everything cosy when we returned home (a bit cold and wet!). Tessa was very helpful and communicative with us before and during our stay. All in all, a great weekend. We'll be back!

The house is very cosy and comfortable. The area is beautiful and very quiet. We enjoyed the log stove very much and the EV charging station was very convenient. Our hosts were very friendly and caring for our needs.
