The fine print
During the winter, the access to the resort is made with the Gondola from the town of Vulcan to the Vâlcan Pass.During the week the operating hours are from one hour to the fixed time and on weekends without interruption between 9 am and 4.30 pm.The price of an ascent is 7 lei and the ticket for a round trip is 10 lei.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Cozy, quiet cabin with amazing views. I didn't enjoy being berated an attacked by the host after leaving my review. He sent nasty messages on whats app cursing me for giving their cabin an 8 out of 10. It's a mountain cabin at an affordable price I would not expect a ten. I came from 4 and 5 star hotels they would be a 9.7. The stay was great, but i am shocked and appalled by the harassment on the hosts end. I would say come, only if your prepared to give 10s across the board or you don't mind messages like this

We liked the whole property because of the surrounding area. Amazing views around and hikes all around. The host was very friendly and helpful and responded quick even afterwards when we asked for advice. They waited for us with traditional Romanian products of home made quality, simply amazing and kind. Neighbours were also very nice to us and always handing an helping advice on what to visit and what to be aware of in that part of the mountain.

Small cozy cabin in the middle of nature, accessible via paved mountain road. It has pretty much everything you want: gas stove, fridge, microwave, small grill outside, cozy wood furnace (which is the central heater; hot tap water comes from a boiler). Reception is ok, but there's also fiber with WiFi. Plenty of tourist attractions in the Petroșani area. Host is very hospitable.
