I travelled off season so It was pretty calm and I had time to have conversation with staff (especially Duc Phuc who became my friend). The service is mostly premium but still affordable, I could rent bike or motorcycle very easily, we had buffet.. The buildings of the hostel are inviting us to take time and care of us. Its really perfect for people who want slow travel out of down town.

We found Tam Coc Hotel and Spa a beautiful place to stay. The staff are incredibly kind, chatty, friendly and helpful, particularly Phuc in reception who booked our ongoing travel to Halong, and looked after us very well during our entire stay. The hotel is quite new, everything is in tip top condition. Our room was very comfortable, with robes and slippers provided. The breakfast buffet we found to be tasty, fruit juice, coffee, a lovely selection of freshly prepared fruit, breads, pancakes, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, and beef stew. More than ample for us, and we enjoyed our breakfast. The location of the hotel is in a quieter area, a short walk from the main street. We liked this as the bars in town can play music until late at night. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Tam Coc. I've seen the review about two ladies having a bad experience here, where their room was given to someone else, and they had frustrated member of staff that scared them. We asked Phuc about this incident (Phuc has only worked here for one month so far, and wasn't there at the time it happened). Be assured that the man concerned does not work at the hotel anymore, so please book here with confidence that you will be looked after very well.

The hotel location is near to the town, walking a distance of about 15 minutes to 20 minutes.Pretty scenery around. The room provided was comfortable . The bathroom was nice with good shower pressure and other complimentary items such as toothbrush, shampoo, bath ge etc is available.l There was a swimming pool, unfortunately did not get to use. There is also a pool table and upstairs areas on the roof for relaxation. There are motorbikes and bicycles for hire. Offered transfers and organising trips.

Incredible hotel, especially good for value! Great staff and location was close to the main road, but at enough of distance to not be disturbed! The room was very spacious and clean.
