Good location, although a little far from the town centre of Vouvant. Very good, efficient welcome from the lady caretaker: Sue. Lovely little terrace looking out to the fields: this was great! Good facilities nearby: restaurant, bar, swimming pool.

The property was lovely. It had all the amenities we required- a little kitchenette with all the cutlery/ pots/ pans/ crockery/ glasses required, a small hob and fridge freezer. There was a lovely sized living area and small veranda out the back with lovely views of the village, table and chairs and deck chairs. We were also able to go across the road to use the pool at the restaurant complex for free (others using the pool had to be a customer of the restaurant and buy food or drinks). However, we did eat at the restaurant one evening and we highly recommend- the food, service and location was fantastic! An added note that the concierge, Sue, was great! As I believe her first language is English, it made it really easy to communicate! She met us at the property, showed us quickly around the gite and made suggestions of where we should visit locally during our stay. As I had her phone number for the arrival, she was also on hand to answer any questions we had. 😊
