Because the Chateau has a historical significance, it is nice to stay here once. The bed is fine and the breakfast has sufficient basic choice. Park around château is nice and enough parking space.

the carpet was filthy and it was a bit run down, old hair dryer from the 80s

I have stayed 4 times with family travelling with our dogs. If you stay in the old part of the chateau this is better for dogs as one of my dogs is very large and need the extra space and cooler rooms as there is no air-conditioning. The swimming pool is huge, there is a small woodland to walk the dogs and the restaurant is also good.
