Facilities are very good, hotel is gigantic. Room is comfortable, spacious, beds are very comfortable, bedding is premium and pillows are great. Some rooms have an incredible view, some rooms have a less premium view. Bathroom is spacious, could have better lighting (but this is common in Italy, not a problem for the hotel to solve I'd say. They have a strong light in the mirror!), shower is awesome. Reception desk was kind and attentive, both on check-in and check-out. They have a lot of souvenirs, wine options, etc. Good for some purchases! Great location, if you're in a car you can park right across the hotel and walk to the center of Volterra. I would've stayed a few more nights, if given the option.

really liked the hotel. The location is perfect, just slightly outside the center, and the view from the window was incredible, overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The hills were most beautiful at sunset. The staff were very friendly. Since it is a family-run hotel business, the atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The hotel itself also has interesting paintings and a unique history.

Rooms are very large, beds very comfortable. We requested disable access bathruoom for my brother and it was really useful. We requested groud floor rooms and we got them. The hotel has a good sized pool, the only drawback was the waather but this is not the hotel fault!
