The house is really nice, has all the facilities you need, hairdryer, iron, fridge, a fully equipped kitchen, parking space. The Volimes village is very picturesque, even has 1-2 tavernas where you can eat. Very good villa for 2 couples. We never met the hosts, but they were friendly and welcoming, ready to answer every question you had on the WhatsApp group. It was very clean, in our 1 week stay we had a cleaning lady come one day to change the sheets and towels. If you are looking for nightlife the only options Tsilivi and Laganas are a little bit far. We drove along the island with no problem, we knew every beach, and attraction was like a 30-minute drive away. I never looked at the position of the villa as a downside, as I enjoyed travelling through the whole island. We were never really bothered about driving 30 minutes to go eat in Zakynthos or Tsilivi. The only reason I gave a 9 not a 10 was the Wifi.

A comfortable place to stay in one of the best spots on the island. Full kitchen, comfortable bed, hot water and private parking place. Wine, fruit and water to welcome us too!
A fai fia ka'a - ka'a “Great stay in a very quaint village”

We wanted to stay in Volimes to be able to reach the shipwreck viewpoint in Navagio Bay. Unfortunately, the access road was closed off because of the risk of wildfilres in the extreme heat, so we never reached the viewpoint. However, Volimes turned out to be such a quint little village, and Vardakis House the perfect place to stay, so we had a great time anyway. The host, Dionisia, was very accomodating and answered all our written questions very quickly.

It is truly a holiday home in the mountains for a family or 2 couples. The house is new and clean, being recently built. The host waited for us to hand us the keys and offered us a bottle of wine. In the house you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay (from plates, cutlery, to towels and consumables), and for any problem you will receive an answer immediately. I was glad that I had a washing machine at my disposal, very useful given the fact that people come on holiday for the beach and have many towels. You have a spacious open parking lot right in front on the house
