I like the garden. It gives the shade and the feeling of being in a village. I really loved the green lawn in front of my terrace. You can park your car inside the gate of the house which is very convenient and you can leave and come back without disturbing the host. The walk to the beach is not exhausting even in the heat, since the pavement is along other houses with tall trees. My daughters really loved the kiwi tree on the way. The central beach is very close by, less than 10 minutes walk. Next to the beach there is a supermarket also and a bakery. Vodice is really scenic and I do recommend starting exploring Croatia from Vodice. The apartment itself is amazingly clean. I cooked myself, so it was important to have all the appliances and there were just enough. The AC was there, though we didn’t need it , the apartment on the ground floor had enough coolness from the trees. Wifi was perfect, I had a couple of zoom meetings without a problem. The host Maria speaks English and was very helpful with advise and care. Thank you so much
