Hotel ratings on Booking.com for Spain are always too high. I don’t know how it works. At the time of booking, the hotel had a rating of 9.3, but in reality it’s a solid 7. I’ve been traveling for work for 13 years, and every week I spend at least 2–4 nights in hotels across Europe and sometimes beyond. 24-hour front desk; around 8 a.m., the doors to the building housing the front desk are locked (accommodations are in a different building); it has a slightly old-school feel in terms of appearance and amenities, etc. And overall, the hotel’s nature doesn’t really make it worthy of a score higher than 9. It’s a good, average hotel for a few nights. But it’s definitely not top-notch.

Quiet location and friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and modern, and of a good size. Large shower.
