We had a one night stop over and the hotel was close to the bus station a little bit of a climb for the older people with us but we all managed it with a little stop. The breakfast was very good on the morning we left. The hotel is a little dated but was excellent value for money.

Breakfast was particularly good, so much choice. One of the best we have experienced. We also loved the bright ‘lounge’ area and the large patio. All tastefully decorated too. Bonus of on- site parking. Very good value for money.

Compared with other hotels in northern Portugal this hotel did not reach expectations, maybe was expecting too much for a hotel in Viseu
