Perched up on a hill, with large windows that were facing the gorgeous valley - this cabana was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway, our first in Maramures. Big thanks to Maria and her family, who were such helpful and gracious hosts 👍 Note: The cabana really is quite remote and hard to get to, unless you drive a 4x4. Thankfully, Maria was nice enough to let our friends park their car on her property, and drive them up, including their dog.

The cottage is located on a hill and it has an amazing view over Maramureş mountains, much better in real life than in the photos. There are no other houses around so it’s always quiet and nice, really great place to relax.
