Once you hear the story of the uphill work to make this place, you appreciate the hard work and soul that has gone into making this little gem... Not perfect, our 1st room did not have a working door knob.. wouldn't even latch let alone lock and the mosquito 🦟 netting was too small for the bed. Second room was a lot better. Food was good.. only ordered from the menu as their set dinner was too late and too large for me. Owner actually got up early to make me pho before we caught a shuttle boat she had organized I strongly recommend allowing them to organize your forward connections. Made life really easy. Not perfect, but a gem that I appreciated in our travels.

The accomodation itself is great and they organise some cool activities for you. most of the staff is very kind. there is also a nice pool

We appreciated this is a family run business, trying to recover from Covid downturn. They are trying hard to meet touring customer needs. The food provided by the kitchen was authentic local fare. The owners are keen to improve and are looking for constructive feedback. The local island tour in his boat was authentic and well received. We met and observed an array of local cottage industries who provided informative and relatable stories of their operations and history.
