We stayed in a cottage. Beautiful from the outside, though a bit dated inside. The bathroom, however, had been newly renovated. The cottage is very small, but you do have your own private bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, and we also really enjoyed the breakfast in the main house. The accommodation is very centrally located in the south. From there, it’s easy to reach the Golden Circle, Vik, and Reykjavik. It’s also a wonderful spot for seeing the northern lights. And the horses right outside the door were very cute.

The accommodation is ideal for a group. Even though we didn't take advantage of them, the common facilities at the reception (free drinks, board games, billiard pool, etc.) are very welcomed.

The location is remote and perfect, the rooms are tiny which is a regular thing in Iceland. Everything was clean, the staff was really nice. The common area is amazing, you have pool, darta, DVDs, board games, awesome vibe.
