The resort is as you would think, a little out of town and secluded. Being large it was great to walk around as well as they have cute little train that does constant laps so if you are feeling lazy you can jump on it . Beautiful gardens with olive trees everywhere .

Gosh it's gorgeous. The food was impeccable and the beach is stunning. Lots of entertainment and activities to enjoy.

Tanka Village is a great location for scientific meetings offering a good venue and being also full of amenities, first of all a terrific view of the sea and the best beach ever. Not all rooms are easy to reach - those on the top of the hill require a good dose of physical exercise, but they are clean, confortable and roomy. There are two complimentary bottles of water in the quite spacious fridge, air conditioning, a clean and roomy bathroom and the double bed is king size. The room I had featured a sofa, a round table with four chairs and a balcony with view of the sea. Lovely. There's a TV of course, a roomy cupboard and the room service is efficient, with towels changed every day. My room came with half board which includes breakfast at the very spacious Oasys restaurant and dinner either there or at the pizzeria just around the corner. Both continental breakfast and dinner at Oasys are 'all-you-can-eat' buffet, and you can take really as much as you can eat! Cappuccino at the two cafe' corners is really good and worth to queue a bit for it. There are a wide range of cakes and brioches, as well as bacon&eggs, cherry tomatoes, mozzarellas, fruits, yogurts of any kind, bread and jam, actually everything you may wish for. The same holds true for dinner, where you can enjoy grilled meat/fish, seafruits, vegetables, olives, chips and potatoes cooked in different ways, a good selection of cheeses, including the pecorino ones, pasta, risotto, fruits, cakes, and more beyond. The pizzeria allows you to have a starter, a pizza and a dessert/fruit. Drinks always included. The village sports an open olympionic swimming pool plus a smaller one for kids, paddle, tennis courts, whatever. Last - but absolutely not least - the staff is really very kind and helpful. Very recommended.
