Niki “Little gem away from the madding crowds”

Small hotel run by a lovely young couple. We loved our room and had a delicious meal and wine on our arrival evening. The house feels warm and welcoming, and the reception areas were beautiful and smelt amazing. The location is wonderful. The village is small and quiet but the birdsong is deafening (very persistent cuckoo!!) Not very far from the motorway either, so a great stop on our way down to Southern Spain. We will be back!

It’s very pretty with interesting themed rooms. The decor in the reception and dining room is lovely too. The young couple who run the hotel are very sweet.

We arrived at the hotel during the electricty outage in Spain. Patricia te owner and her partner went out of their way to make us comfortable and had even gone out to buy a generator, which must of cost them more than our total bill for the stay. Luckily the power came back on before dinner and we enjoyed an excelent meal. Breakfast the following morning was again excellent as was dinner that evening and the following days breakfast. Highly recommend. The setting is in a village with no other facilities but ideal as a base for walking with the Camino de Santiago trail a short distance from the hotel and other superb walks in the mountains.

Very quaint with a lovely atmosphere, owners very friendly and accommodating
