Hotel Overview

Surrounded by a 20-hectare natural park, this 5-star hotel next to the KärntenTherme Thermal Spa in Warmbad-Villach offers a large, private spa area with a sauna world, a thermal indoor pool, and a thermal outdoor pool (heated throughout the year). It also has a café and pastry shop serving Austrian and seasonal dishes.
The Hotel Warmbaderhof’s spacious, individually furnished rooms feature a balcony or terrace with views of the park or the Karawanken Mountains, a minibar, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a safe. A spa bag with bathrobes, towels, and slippers is provided in every room.
The activity and exercise programme at the Hotel Warmbaderhof includes Nordic walking, Pilates, stretching, yoga, Qi Gong, aqua gymnastics, flex walk and guests also have free access via a heated walkway to the KärntenTherme Thermal Spa. There is also a beauty department and a therapy department with health care and prevention programmes.
The restaurant also serves diet menus, light and vital cuisine. On Sundays, guests can enjoy a brunch buffet, and weekly dance evenings with live music are held in the ParkLounge bar, where the afternoon tea is served as well.
Hiking and running trails as well as cross-country ski runs can be accessed on site. Guests receive a discount on green fees of various partner golf courses, and the Finkenstein Golf Course is just 3 km away.
Guests enjoy free and exclusive admission to the unique Thermal Urquellbecken spa every day from 07:00 to 08:00.
The Sportpark Warmbad includes 10 outdoor and 3 indoor tennis courts and a Golf Academy with a driving range, putting green, and pitching green. Guests can practice there free of charge.
The hotel is 3 km from the centre of Villach, and only a 15-minute drive from the Italian border.

Very good place for healthy time spending. Old Roman road and forest with fantastic clean air for walking in the neighboring hills , nice park , perfect term & pool, sauna. hamam , etc . Good restaurant, with friendly staff. Special local way of life - everything is closed very early. The room was not cleaned up , probably because we have left room around 12.30. If to tell about it to reception some one will maybe bring new towels and toilet paper. That's it.
