This is a beautiful resort. We are more used to an old Italian vibe so at first we had mixed feelings as the place is rather modern, but as our stay went on we really appreciated Minareto. There is a small sandy beach, a cliff with breathtaking views and a big (25 metres long) pool. It is absolutely not crowded (we were at the end of June) and you can fully relax. All the materials used are high quality, natural wooden and leather furniture, stone floors etc. There are no standard bars next to the beaches, you order everything via WhatsApp. Again, seemed strange at first but it turned out very convenient. The restaurant is outstanding, totalny aspiring for Michelin Star. There is a professional somelier (Saki, if I remember right) who deserves a special appraisal. In general it is a wonderwul place for enjoying sun, views and fancy food. The all day menu is less posh, you can get a big sandwich with chips if you wish. It is 15 minutes drive from Siracusa. You can take a taxi boat to the old town (Ortigia). There are rather no restaurant or shops in a walking distance.

+ Great location and service, fantastic staff - the hotel area is not contiguous, so from our room we had to walk half a block through a small road and passing a construction site to get to the beach and restaurant

Wonderful hotel. The room was large, spacious and clean. There were many places to sit and enjoy the scenery and views.
