We really liked this place. You get a huge amount for your money - a whole apartment with two bedrooms. It was basically like staying in someone's house but getting all of it. So as you'd expect, a full kitchen, large living/dining room and a nice bathroom with an actual bath as well as a shower (We had been hiking in the rain for several hours by the time we arrived and really appreciated that). There is free coffee and tea and also bowls of fruit. The place had a lovely feel to it and although we only stayed one night it would be a great place to base yourself for longer. Maria is very helpful. She doesn't speak English and unfortunately I don't speak Portuguese but if you know any Spanish you'll be fine. There's not really anything to explain anyway as it's all very clear.

Maria left a fabulous bowl of fruit for us, with fresh mangoes, oranges, and bananas. She also allowed us to check in early

Maria was so accommodating. There was fresh fruit and water. Also we really enjoyed the welcome drink after our long cycle. This was better than any hotel accommodation. Coffee was delightful. Thank you.
