We were walking the Camino so Hostel A Pedra was a budget friendly option for us. We had a room with shared bathroom and a room with private bathroom. It was very basic but that was all we needed. A place to shower and sleep. Lots of cafes and bars around for dinner options.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was big and the bed was comfy. Even though the bathrooms are shared, we never had to wait long to use them. The location is perfect with many bars and places to visit around, within walking distance from the main attractions of the city.

Cheap and cheerful, clean and comfortable - this is a great spot if you just want a basic room to come back to after a day of touristing or walking the Camino. Nearby is the gorgeous Concatedral-Basalica, the charming old town and the beautiful waterfront, with plenty of food options and some shops. The room also had a sink and mirror, which makes getting ready in the morning a bit easier as there is only 1 bathroom.
