Our holiday at Raito was like an an incredibly beautiful dream. The house we rented from Pietro (the owner) is more than just a home, it is a piece of art. Very cozy, we found there all the amenities needed for a family to live permanently, not just some tourists who come and leave after a week or two. We had the feeling that they rented us their family home and Pietro and his wife went to live temporarily somewhere else, while we were there. The view from the terrace is superb, from there you can see a magnificent sunrise. The mornings and evenings on the terrace are magical. Pietro is a perfect gentlemen, very polite and helpful. He gave us lots of info of where to park the car, how to use transportation, where to find best food, boat trips, EVERYTHING... and it was so easy to understand and assimilate all this info from him, because he told us all these like to his friends not to some strangers. Thank you Pietro!!! We will definitely come back and I think not just once. We recommend it with the greatest warmth!

Pietro was extremely helpful, providing useful information and recommendations. The property was in a great location with incredible views. The property was nicely decorated and felt very cosy.

Our last stop of a 3 week tour of the Gulf of Naples/Amalfi Coast, and what a fantastic place to end. Pietro was extremely helpful before, during and after our stay, with excellent communication throughout. The apartment was very well appointed, with everything we needed and more. In particular the bedroom walls were stunning, and of course the view from the terrace was amazing. The immediate area of Raito that you are in was lovely, with a bar and an excellent food shop. The town of Vietri was an easy walk down to, and an even easier bus ride back up! The town was our favourite on the Amalfi Coast, and a lot less touristy than the other main towns.

Location up in the mountain in Raito about 4-5km down to Vietri sul Mare. Free parking on the public street. Parking spots tend to fill up in the evening. The housing is near the bus station (to Vietri sul Mare, tickets are sold in tabacco store, but would suggest to buy it in Vietri sul Mare bar - 1,40euro/ticket). Must say the most beautiful balcony I have ever been to. Views to Vietri sul Mare and Salerno bay. Of course to pay for it you must climb lots of stairs to heaven :D So if you have any difficulties to climb, would suggest to choose other destination in Italy. Amalfi is all about stairs. WIFI : host gives you pocket wifi, for us it was not working well, but we probably didn;t know how to use it. Host Petro, such an excelent host. Answered all my questions via Whatsapp. Greeted us at the housing and even lent me a helpful hand with my luggage. Best wishes to you! Host speaks italian, but we used google translator. Inside: you have a well equipped kitchen, views to the sea through the window. There is some difficulties with hot water in the shower as the town is located so high. You need you use all bathroom taps to get the pressure on and hot water running in the shower, BUT it is not a big deal. Bedroom has unique restored walls as the house is very old. Up you have the 1/2 floor with a small room and magnificent terrace.
