I have made a very late reservation, but they organize a room even at 11:00 p.m. for me. Great stay for short sleepover when passing by.

The location was perfect for closeness to my family, friends and shopping facilities, very close to the tram that connects Viernheim with Mannheim, Weinheim and Heidelberg. The breakfast was okay. I would have liked an alternative milk option (oat or soya) and a toaster for the bread, and the breadrolls were the most basic. I was not sure about the cooked meat options - they looked on the super cheap side. All spreads were in small plastic tubs, so there was a lot of rubbish, which is not environmentally friendly. But I did not expect more for the price, so I was happy. The rooms were super clean, the bed very comfortable (firm, but not too firm), the bedding clean and nice (two pillows, one big, one small - very nice), had quadruple glazing (double windows). Mannheimer Strasse is busy during the day, less so in the evenings, and bearable at night. Unfortunately, the TV woke me up every morning at 5:00 am by coming on automatically. Someone must have set it as an alarm, and I had no clue how to sort this out. There was no ARD, which is the only channel I would have wanted to watch, strangely, and one was able to log on to their own Netflix and Prime. There's a Pizzeria nearby, although I am not sure about it, as their salad came overly salted, so I did not eat there again. It seemed there were only some Italian people always in there, mostly staff and their friends/family, it seemed, but no other guests. Not a good sign. All in all, I was super happy because for that price I would not expect any more; and I will definitely come back.
