The hotel was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located. The staff was kind, but the room layout was not practical. It feels like a man designed it — the shower is transparent (there is a curtain, but still), which is very limiting. The room is dark and it’s impossible to do your makeup properly. The record player, which is supposed to be the highlight of the room, didn’t work. The air conditioning barely heated the room, and only after five days did we figure out how to get the shower water above 38°C. They were stingy with toilet paper — it was embarrassing to go down to the lobby all the time to ask for more. And mainly, everything works through QR codes, which is a bit annoying when you’re on vacation and want to disconnect from your phone. There were also hours when both the lobby bar and the rooftop bar were closed, so you couldn’t even grab a glass of water. Bottom line: come take pictures — it’s beautiful here — but sleep in a hotel that’s more friendly for women.

The property was modern and well located, with lots of restaurants and shops close by as well as an easy walk to main attractions.
