Pleasant, serene, relaxed, friendly, safe. And a couple short walkable blocks from the main square. You can do a couple of short to medium hikes in the hills close by, and the people, dogs and chickens are all friendly. Staff was helpful and easy to chat with. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, guests share the space easily and courteously. .

Very comfortable accommodation, super clean rooms, bathrooms, showers, main areas, and kitchen, great kitchen equipment, central, and easy to get to from the bus station. The host is very nice and gives valuable advices for things to do. He also creates connection between travelers in case you’re travelling by yourself and knows tour providers/bike rental places in town to give recommendations. I really enjoyed my stay here and it felt like being at home even though there were not many people around as I was visiting in shoulder season. Moreover, the garden is very comfortable for relaxing days, watching stars at night, and chilling in the hammocks. Next time, I‘ll stay longer - the Elqui Valley is a very beautiful place to visit as a solo traveller.

This place was unbelievable, such clean hostel, with many toilets and showers, cozy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with lots of seating and hammocks from where you can watch the stars. The kitchen is beyond well-equipped, with even more seating. Nice common area. Edgardo is the best host you can ask for, speaks great English, responds to all your questions, he even arranged for me to safely store my luggage in la Serena for couple of hours. This is one of those places you don’t want to leave.

We had such an amazing time at the hostel. The room is very comfortable and in such a cute environment with the possibility to relax outside, cook meals in the kitchen, etc We are extremely thankful for the owner who made our stay incredible and comfortable.
