I cannot score 10, because it is an old house, my room needs upgrades like a new mattress. And some problems with the humidities. But it was fantastic to overnight there. It's a piece of the American History. The owner, she loves the house and it's history, it was great to heard her telling us about the house.

We were welcomed by the host and shown to our room. We were offered a glass of wine and the opportunity to meet with other guests which was nice. We visited Vicksburg Main Street which was quite a walk down & then up hill home. We should have driven as couldn't get a taxi and parking wasn't an issue. After breakfast we were given a tour of the house which was interesting. We were offered full use of the lounge but we didn't have time as we had to get to New Orleans.

A great stay in a historic mansion, we especially enjoyed the house tour after breakfast, which was absolutely delicious! We shared the family room (perhaps with a ghost!!) which was ideal for a night for 4 people. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historic mansion. The building itself is full of character and charm, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Every afternoon at 5 pm, they host a delightful wine hour where guests can enjoy complimentary wine, which added a special touch to our experience. The outdoor pool area is lovely and well kept, offering a relaxing spot to unwind. In the mornings, the breakfast was excellent with a great variety and quality of dishes. After breakfast, we joined the guided tour led by a historian, who shared fascinating details about the mansion’s history and gave us a deeper appreciation of the property. Overall, this mansion offers not only comfort but also a unique and memorable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, history, and warm hospitality.
