The fine print
When travelling with pets, please note that an extra charge of 15€ per pet, per night applies and only pets with a maximum weight of 15 kilos, also the property does not allow pets from June 1st to September 21st.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Very clean, comfortable, conveniently located for Camino travelers. Comfortable bed and good bed linens. Good value for money. Had great night sleep. Liked breakfast too! Lady at reception was very attentive and polite.

Very dog friendly - you can even take your dog to breakfast as there's a dedicated section for doing so, although it's 15€ per night per dog (Hotel Margarida da Praça, also in Viana's centre, doesn't charge for dogs). The location is excellent, right in the city centre but not too close to all the action, making it very quiet at night. The staff is wonderful. There's a spacious underground parking garage close to the hotel with a cost of 14€ for 24 hours, where you can enter and leave as many times as you wish during that time. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable. Nice shower.

Wonderful hotel. The staff are friendly and outstandingly helpful. Very healthy breakfast. The furniture and fittings are exquisite, clearly chosen with a lot of heart and soul - and a great deal of love. Scrupulosly clean. Viana do Castelo is a medieval town and has all the charm and walker friendliness of its era, however all modern amenities are present. Its architural heritage necessitates many one-way street systems so, after parking, it's highly recommended to walk everywhere. In short: this hotel could not be recommended more highly

The staff were great! The room was lovely. The breakfast was good. Felt nice to sit and let our feet dangle in the rooftop pool.
