Casa do Ameal is located in a beautiful old mansion full of charme, about 20 minutes walking distance from the city centre. In the Casa you will be greated by a very friendly and helpful host, which distinguishes the Casa from many other apartments where you are just an anonymous guest, checking in and out without any contact to anyone. The little apartments are very tastefully decoarted, in a rustic way and the pool is great for relaxing after a day on your feet. If you look for a cosy and stylish hideaway in Viana do Castelo, don't look any further. Highly recommended!

Casa de Ameal is a magnificent place, beautiful grounds which was once a farm, a great swimming pool comfortable rooms and a fantastic home made breakfast buffet. It is perfectly located and is a tranquil oasis within walking distance of Viana De Castello. We were welcomed by our host who shared fascinating history about the area. We would highly recommend to couples and families.

Beautiful old stone building and peaceful garden areas to relax. João was a most attentive and friendly host. We really enjoyed his company and the delicious breakfasts!!!

We‘ve been already second time in this property and we love it. Joao and his team are very nice and helpful, the breakfast is great and varied. The rooms are cleaned every day. Just next to the property there is a supermarket which is very practical. We will surely come back again 😎👏
