What a find! Just on the outskirts of Verteuil-sur-Charente and within walking distance of this beautiful village is this amazing Chambres d’Hote. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine by our fabulous hosts - Cor and Mylène. They were incredibly helpful, providing lots of information about the local area including the best restaurants and places of interest. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was well presented and delicious with fresh bread and croissants from the local boulangerie/patisserie. All in all the perfect start to our vacation.
