“A culinary escape in nature”
01 Jun 2025
Situated in a quiet, verdant valley, this is wonderful escape. The property has beautifully kept gardens and a lovely covered terrace. Jacco's cooking is excellent and the breakfast is also far superior to most French B&Bs. Jacco and Cees are charming hosts. The rooms themselves are fairly small and being in the basement of the house are a little dark and have a very slight cellar scent. But they are well equipped and each has its own patio area.

“Wonderful stop- well worth the detour to find it.”

Psst, don't tell anyone, I would like to keep it a secret place :-) - Truly a perfect piece of heaven! The room, the garden, the services, the incredible hosts, the food, the breakfast / dinner deck.... everything together makes for a such a wonderful relaxing place to stay in a beautiful part of France. I normally don't return to places as there is so much to see and experience in the world but this one.... Gents, we will back!

“A beautiful setting, superb accommodation en route to the south of france.”

I stayed here for one night, travelling on my motorbike en route to Montpellier. Jakob went out of his way to offer me parking for my bike in his barn. Their house is a beautifully restored building in an idyllic, rural setting and they immediately made me feel at home. There's a lovely garden and the my loft room had superb views over the countryside. Dinner was made by Jakob and exceptional. Had I not had a long ride the next day I would have sampled some of Cees's excellent cellar.
