The view on the lake was amazing. Good quality/price ratio. Nice staff. Amazing restaurant on the lake with a terrace, good dishes, expecially fish and pizza. Price ok. Over the expectation considering it is a 1 star hotel

Beata Giovannina is a small hotel attached to a large restaurant and excellent pizzeria. Very nicely located on the water's edge at the western end of Verbania. Access by car was very easy and easy to find the hotel, and there seemed to be adequate parking (this is often not the case for hotels on the lakefront nearer the centre of Verbania). Very well-run, and my pizza was the biggest and far the best I have ever tasted, and not expensive. I didn't sample a restaurant meal but it looked to be full of customers. My room was at the side of the building but the balcony (with a couple of chairs) gave a good view over the lake.
