The hotel is very nice and the rates were good value. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the quality of provision overall was excellent. The location is excellent, everyone was very kind to my travelling companion who is physically frail - even to the extent of arranging a parking spot in the grounds of the hotel rather than at one of the two other parking areas.

All the food was very good. Well presented and clearly prepared by a good chef and his team.

Breakfast was good although I had advised in advance that I was gluten intolerant and they had no suitable cereal. Some was obtained but not in evidence until we asked each morning. The location and grounds were very impressive.

A beautiful historic hotel, with great staff, lovely front of house and gardens. Cocktails by the pool is a must. Breakfast was great with good selection.
