The hotel was warm, clean, comfortable and friendly. Owing to my illness I suffer occasionally with walking (especially up hills and stairs, but not so much down!) and I was fortunate enough to have a parking bay close to reception, which was wonderful. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. The food was excellent, we had cod bites with tartare in the bar and in the restaurant the celeriac amuse bouche was delivious. My seabass was perfect as was my husband's pork loin, we will definitely stay again. Unfortunately we were running late so didn't have breakfast....next time .

The hotel is very nice and the rates were good value. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the quality of provision overall was excellent. The location is excellent, everyone was very kind to my travelling companion who is physically frail - even to the extent of arranging a parking spot in the grounds of the hotel rather than at one of the two other parking areas.
