Great breakfast menu, options to suit all tastes. Freshly cooked to order and delicious. My room was very comfortable and I appreciated the peaceful and quiet.

The location was ideal for the places we visited. Both house and gardens were lovely, finding our way through the garden down to the sea and back was an added delight. Breakfast was superb with an extensive menu and generous portions.

Lovely home run by Ruth and Robert. Friendly people, delicious daily breakfast with lots of options. Sachet coffee and fresh coffee in your room with your own cafetière and plentiful biscuits. The property has a lovely homely feel about it and my wife and I and my 2 sons loved it. My son Phoenix said that he “loved this house” on many occasions during our stay. Lovely grounds too. We would definitely like to return.

Ruth and Robert were fabulous hosts who went above and beyond to make our visit the best it could be. Lisle Combe is a beautiful old country house with tons of Alfred Noyes memorabilia. It was incredible reading a book of Alfred Noyes poems while sitting in his drawing room. The garden was beautiful and led to a sheltered private beach. We picked our breakfast from a varied menu. The food was well prepared and delicious, and served in a beautiful large dining room. Our room, the Boudoir, looked out onto the garden, and was spacious and had a large 3 piece ensuite. It was so quiet at Lisle Combe. We could hear the waves at night.
