The location was on a nice quiet street, but close to the vaparetto stop and restaurants/local shops. The apartment was lovely, very comfortable and with everything needed for our stay. Andreas the owner lives close by and was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely choose to stay again when we return to Venice.

Communication was excellent with Andrea (the host) in the days leading up to our holiday and he gave us clear directions regarding how to reach the apartment from the airport. We used the Alilaguna water taxi (orange line) which you can get from the airport all the way to the drop off point at Ca Rezzonica which was 3 minutes away from the apartment. Andrea met us at the apartment and gave us a tour of the property which had everything you could possibly need. There was even a bottle of bubbles in the fridge!! Andrea had also printed off all the Carnival events in Venice for the duration of our stay which was very helpful and informative. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The location is perfect (quiet) and we loved the local atmosphere of Dosoduro. The main attractions were only a 20 minute walk away (St Mark's Square, Doge's Palace, Basilica) and we also walked further afield rather than getting the vaporetto. Everything is very easy to walk to (thank god for Apple maps as Venice is like a maze but who cares, we loved getting lost in the passageways). We did take a vaporetto to Murano which I would highly recommend, lots of lovely glass shops, walk ins to watch glass blowers etc. What can I say about the food and drink? AMAZING. There are some wonderful osterias near to Andrea's apartment where we enjoyed cicchetti and Campari spritz looking at the canal. If you can book a stay at Andrea's, you won't be disappointed. Wonderful host and apartment. 5 stars!!

Actually everything. Andy is extremely helpful before and during our stay. Apartment is in a very convenient location yet remains very quiet. You have everything you need in the apartment. A very comfortable bed and very clean. Cannot recommend more!
