Romantic ambient. Small island, not crauded. Close to beautiful Burano, Murano and Venice. Host is kind and available. Thank you. We will come back.

The property was on the island of Torcello, is about an hour away from the main part of Venice and needs two boats to get there. We found it to be the perfect location as was nice and quiet and away from the busy streets of Venice. The property was pretty clean and housekeeping came everyday. The breakfast was good, had a selection of pastry’s, cold meats, cheese, cereal, juice, milk, crackers, bread, jam and Nutella. Only some things got restocked though. We only got 2 single serve cereal boxes the day we arrived and then didn’t get any more. They were very accommodating for the fact I am gluten free and provided gluten free options. We didn’t see many staff but the ones we did were very nice! We were in the superior King room, there was plenty space, a wardrobe and good size bathroom. We had a lovely view as well. There is also a little table set for breakfast which is lovely. We stayed in April room was nice and warm.

We had a very pleasant stay on Torcello. Although the host, Alessandro, was not there in person, he was always available and helpful. Everything worked out very well and he was very friendly. The room had a beautiful view, and the ferry connections were easy and worked smoothly. There is also a tavern on the ground floor where you can enjoy good regional food and a great coffee. A great option for a quiet stay near Venice.

Unique location at Torcello island. Nice trattoria downstairs. Next to water so easy to get by water taxi. Nice & really friendly staff.
