It is a small charming hotel, steps from St Mark’s but tucked discreetly into a corner. There is a lift. My room was spacious and comfortable with heating and a good shower and a balcony which looks onto a street and a bridge. Breakfast was served in a cute breakfast room, and was ample and delicious. The staff was kind and helpful.

This property is very central and just beyond the expensive shops but about 5-10 months walk to bridge to access Galleria and Peggy Guggenheim. 30 minutes walk from train station to be central to most things. A very good breakfast with plenty of food to set you up for the day from 7.30-10. An old world room setting with Murano glass chandeliers and damask walls but fitted with a new bathroom.
