Very convenient to the train station so no long treks with luggage deep into the old town but still close to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful

We were there in early April after Easter. The location (steps from Sta Lucia station) for us was good because we were only staying one night and wanted to be near public transportaition. We'd visited Venice before and didn't need to do the whole San Marco area (about 20. mins away on foot.) However, because of its proximity to the station, right outside the hotel door was "tourist-land". Another positive - we had two good restaurant recommendations from the desk staff. Ristorante Bonita was a 6 minute walk - away all the tourist craziness and ON the canal. Lastly the hotel room was spatious by Venetian standards (imo) and clean, with a good shower! Quiet if you closed the windows. Breakfast was a large buffet with many choices, and you could sit outside on the canal.

Location close to the parking garages was very convenient and we didn't have to walk too far with our bags. Lots of restaurants and shops close by, and only about 25-30 minutes walk to St. Mark's Square. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and modern, and probably a good size for a city like Venice.
