The location was so good. The hotel is in the heart of San Marco. the neighbouhood is always alive and kicking. And for the vaporettos it was also easy to rich and comfortable.

Fabulous location, within a few minutes of St Mark’s Square, a bit further to Rialto Bridge but still only 10 minutes’ walk. Easy to reach by Alilaguna from the airport. Loads of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars.. expensive supermarket round the corner, more reasonable Spar at Rialto. This isn’t a destination hotel. However for a warm, clean, central place to stay it’s great. Hotel is a bit tired, has authentic Venetian decor. Lovely chap on reception, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is available for €12 but I didn’t have it so can’t comment. At that price though, you could easily get a decent coffee and Italian pastries in a nearby cafe. Shower was hot, towels clean and room was serviced every day during my 4-night stay. There was a kettle with instant coffee, tea bags etc. My room was at the back of the building and was quiet at night. If you’re looking for a central, cheap place to stay and only need a clean bed because you’re out all day exploring in Venice, this could work for you.

Tiny hotel in the middle of Venice, 2 steps from Piazza San Marco in a very beautiful neighbourhood. Clean rooms, beautiful interior design, perfect place to stay in Venice for a couple of days.
