I like the location of Hotel Castello, ths 3 star hotel fits the bill for budget, cleanliness and facilities. Comfortable mattress, quiet at night.

Incredible location to see all of the beauty of Venice, only 200-300 meters from the centre. 30+ minutes to walk from the Santa Lucia train station, which seemed easy but I DO NOT RECOMMEND WALKING, take a water taxi instead to the hotel, unlike me - there are many bridges, stairs and bumpy pathways to carry your luggage across. The hotel was relatively comfortable with a beautiful rooftop terrace and quiet location for being so close to the centre. Beautiful view of surrounding buildings and rooftops outside the window. Good and modern bathroom. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff and customer service at this hotel is amazing, they were always kind and so helpful whenever I needed any assistance with my luggage, my room (mainly my door), or any questions that I had. 10/10 customer service.
