Short walk from train station and to nearby ferry stop, which goes direct to airport. Perfect for our trip that was train in, flight out. Everything is walkable max 45 mins so not an issue being far out. Good price because of this.

The hotel is located in a quiet and relaxed neighbourhood which means you get all the charm of the Venetian canals and bars without the hordes of tourists. The rooms were a really good size (apart from a rather cramped bathroom) and the beds were so comfy. The much anticipated breakfast was plentiful but let down by one or two products. Overall at the discounted price of 210 for three people for one night we were satisfied and would return. The water taxi is a short 5 minute walk away along with a plethora of eateries which aren’t bursting at the seems with people waiting to get a table- if you’re visiting Venice and want a relaxing holiday this area is perfect.
