It is a not for profit (in this case the Church) so money goes to a cause. Good basic room private shower and air con - not much more is needed in the summer in Venice. Friendly and helpful staff.

It’s very easy to reach from airport it’s also extremely polite and clean ! A daily breakfast is served with cereal cheese milk pastry coffee yogurt! Staff help you , a common area and cloister garden and a common sitting room and chapel are on site ! It has canal view rooms and has a quiet location! A few guests can be noisy but it’s Italian culture and I didn’t mind , I think breakfast time could be from 8 to 10 ! Also some fruit in breakfast will be great ! There is a curfew after midnight which in winter doesn’t really matter but in spring or summer it’s rather unnecessary! Venice is one of the most beautiful natural and man made sites in planet if not most wonderful! This is quite a great place to stay for a single traveler and Vaporreto at piazza Roma only 5 minutes away ! Walking to San Marco can take an hour as it’s on other end of Venice !

Very clean and great location for exploring rest of Venice. All staff were really friendly & exchanged pleasantries when met. The rooms were cleaned everyday and I appreciated that. Every area of the property I passed by was clean.

An excellent location a few minutes walk from Piazzale Roma. Lovely calm environment - smallish single room but it was fine. Shared bathroom but I knew that in advance and it wasn't a problem (they do have rooms with private bathrooms). Breakfast was very nice.
